Skincare protection is important all year round, but I’d say even more so in the summer. When I was pregnant 11 years ago I started to get skin pigmentation so have to use a high spf now to avoid getting brown patches on my face.
Luckily products are always evolving and getting better and better. In the past, a high spf would mean thick, pore clogging creams, not any more…
Benefit Hello Flawless Oxygen Wow £29.50
La Roche-Posay Pigmentclar £16.50
Clinique even better dark spot defence £26.99
Boots No.7 Lip and eye sunscreen £7.99
These me are just some of my do to products I buy again again which is testament to their great quality. The Benefit Hello Flawless is spf 25. It gives great coverage and very light at the same time. The La Roche-Posay is a high factor spf 50+. It is classed as a fluid as it is so light and easily absorbed. Unlike some spf for the face this doesn’t leave your face greasy looking. I sometimes wear this just by it self. The whole family uses this and the small bottle actually lasts quite well. The Clinique dark spot defence is a spf 45 and is a sheer tint. It actively protects against those pesky brown spots while correcting any you may already have.. clever! The last product (on the right) is a Boots No.7 lip and eye spf 30 sunscreen. I haven’t used it on my eyes but looks and feels fantastic on the lips. It is moisturising and has a slight shimmer to it too. I always buy one when I get a No.7 voucher.
